I’m not the best at speaking... but somethings that have been on the heart, needs to be heard. There needs to be more awareness of not only the virus if covid 19 but also the virus of racism and hate. Only way to do it is through each other. God bless us all... human beings🤙

Thank you for sharing these truths and bringing this more clearly to light. As an African American, being focused on the daily struggles we face, I did not know much about what the Chinese and Asian communities are experiencing now. Love is the way. It is a globally distressing time and yes some people are trying to blame a certain race about what is happening.
There are lots of misunderstandings and ignorance as we are all so foreign to the great unknown.
People become unkind when they are frustrated and trying to cope with fears themselves.
However, there are some positives coming out of all these.
From what I have seen here in the UK, the different cultural understanding of wearing a mask or not, say for example , has gradually become more widely accepted as people realised the true reason of not promoting it was not its effectiveness but shortages in supply.
People start to show humanities and kindness to each other - practical supports from neighbours, emotional supports from different virtual groups etc. I guess the difficult situation we are now facing is helping us to get together and try and make a difference.
You are right though in telling us to change our attitudes towards each other, towards the different races.
We are all so foreign to what we are facing and therefore we have to stay together to be each other’s strength and encouragement.

I was a huge fan of Vanness back in the day, and I don't know why but I guess it was just God that I thought about him and what he was doing lately. Just wanted to hear his music and I came across this video, I'm so glad I did. I fully agree with him. This racism crap needs to stop, underneath all these different skin tones we all bleed the same color. We need to start acting like it. I'm proud of him for standing up and saying something. Here is a virtual Hug for all cause we need it. 🤗 We need to stop spewing hate and spread more love and hope. Thank you again Vanness for speaking out and letting others know this is not ok.

And love starts with the human you see in the mirror. USA is not the only country that has it problem, racism is not just your skin color. These thing show it to, how much money you have , where you live , who you marry etc, my family is a multi racial family ,white Asain African Jewish, German. Spanish and Indian, and I am black grand and great grandmother to this multi racial family, how do I explain this to them , the only thing I can do is show love ,

Recently I have begun to understand more about Asian culture and heritage. America was supposed to have been a gathering place for ALL nationalities,and cultures to be free to be themselves. It's very sad that so many years later not much has changed! I totally agree with all he said and I'm no stranger to it because my family and my blood is multi- race. A lot of truth in what is said in this video. I too am very surprised that not too many artistic or athletic influencers have not spoken out against what is happening. I can’t fathom the thought of hating someone just because of their race. I’m disgusted by what is happening and I pray every day that God puts sense into people with racist, distorted views. Peace, Love, Hope, Kindness, Smiles, Respect and Prayer, makes the world a better place for all!

How sad is this? I don't think you should feel stupid. I am sorry there are ignorant individuals.. So very sad. I am exact opposite....I am from the midwest, my husband is Asian, my kids are asian, I live in Asia most of the time and long to be there forever., and, I do say things and will defend Asian people until the bitter end. The difference between the races? NONE, PERIOD. We are all the same inside, we all have hearts and feelings. I realize I am the minority, and, if nothing else, I can change the world from my corner. I really love how you spoked the truth about this so called racism. I admired you even more for being an advocate and for spreading your words about hate. You are indeed correct. Every single one of us needs to stand up for each other and spread love to make this world a better place and not letting each other down. There is a purpose for our existence. I appreciate you voicing your opinion, and expressing your frustration regarding racism and how it also effects Asian people as well as Latinos and black people. You mentioned how forgiveness and compassion is needed, and I couldn't agree with you more. I believe this is a season of awakening for all mankind to acknowledge God as sovereign, and to repent of their sins.
I listened to your video two scriptures came to mind, one says, 'There is a season for everything (Ecclesiastes 3)." The other is in 2 Timothy 3:1-9, the bible says, "There will be terrible times in the last days people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- having a form of godliness but denying its power." When we as a people are selfish, back-biting, arrogant, prideful, deceitful, unloving, etc...and do not fear God in heaven we open doors for catastrophic incidents, because it is a corporate offense towards God. We should strive to keep a pure/clear conscience towards God and man, and walk in love. Regardless of where this pandemic began, we should not waste time pointing the finger at one another, but join together as multi-cultural people created by God to find the solution.
We must humble ourselves and pray, turn from our wicked ways, seek the face of God and ask for strategies to resolve the issues at hand (2 Chronicles 7:14). The same God who raised Jesus from the dead is mighty to save and mighty to deliver us from racism, harassment, virus, bad bacteria, and every manner of sickness and disease, as well as any adversity we may face. There are times sacrifices must be made, and our spirit man is disquieted. It is at this time I am reminded that Jesus willingly sacrificed his life for all creation to have the opportunity to come into the knowledge of God and and receive eternal life through Christ Jesus.
My prayer is that you will come to a deeper relationship with God in heaven who formed you in your mother's womb, and fill you with the Holy Spirit and all Truth. May he quicken your mortal body and strengthen you to be all he created you to be. May his peace that surpasses all understanding give you joy. May your faith in God never waver and you see him avenge his own elect speedily. May the unconditional love of God fill your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit to the overflow in your life and those in your household as he permits it to be so. Angelic hosts being released on your behalf to raise the warfare to defeat the enemy. May the table God prepares for you in the presence of your enemies call you to look in the eyes of a friend and forget they were my enemy, so you can see the way that you can be more like him. You were created to do even greater things, just choose to forgive and let him purify your heart and renew a right spirit within you. He is a gracious and merciful God.

Some of us were not aware of the abuse going on because of this false narrative of the origin of the virus, (There were many evil government people from all over the world involved in the planning and funding of the virus). I grew up in a small rural town in northern Minnesota. We had only one person who was not white in our community. She was a Jananese war bride. I was taught to love her and value her as precious. God created everyone with a Devine purpose. For good, not for evil. The only way to defeat prejudice, and evil intentions, is to pray. Pray for the cruel and heartless. Pray for those who would steal our freedom. Pray for those who would plant a blood sucking lie in others, that they have no good value. God alone can change them. God loves all people. Know your enemy. Ephesians 6:12 reads, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. I can see and feel how hurt you are, and I really feel it with you. And no, you are not talking too much, you are saying just what needs to be said. I am so grateful that you had the courage to come onto this platform to speak your heart. We need more of this. I fully agree with everything you're saying Vanness. We live in a world full of people who enable and accept toxicity. It's like most people choose to turn a blind eye, I can't take that either. And racism and hate are definitely amongst toxicity and abuse. I am so sorry. We can really only make changes, when we change as individuals.

I live in America and I know what you talking about. My country has a leader who encourages racism. Everytime I hear him say China in a sarcastic way I want scream. I'm scared because I see so many who are following his lead I feel like evil is winning. I can hang on because I believe in Karma. Vanness is right, people in media need to more responsibility for getting messages out to counter the ignorance and fear mongering that is percolating during this pandemic. For those of us not involved in media, do your part to educate your non-Asian friends. Send them links to videos/documentaries on the Asian American experience. Activism by all of us is necessary to change perceptions, one person at a time!

It breaks my heart to see so much hate. I grew up when racist comments were acceptable. How sad... I have lived my life to love others as I would like too. I pray that God will heal the wounds of Vanness and all others who have been wounded by words and actions of others, in Jesus Name. I am white but because I was a redhead and poor, I was bullied in school. You just need to be different to experience this evil. People threw fruit at me, called me names, hit me, I was not allowed to join clubs, and teachers picked on me. However, when I cried out to God, the thought came,( Why do you want to be friends with them? They are not kind.). Then He showed me that I was His child whom He loved. I gained strength from God to be courageous and stand up for myself and others who were bullied. God showed me how to improve myself and how to love and be kind to others. I was respected because I defended the defenseless. Like Vanness says, "Speak up". Be a leader where ever you are. God made us in His image, for good, not for evil. He gave us all Devine Purpose in the womb. If you seek him,(Not religion, but relationship), you will find Him. He loves you just as you are. You don't have to perform for His love. It's free. Start a conversation with Him. Just talk and read His word. Ask His Holy Spirit to show you the truth. I declare you healed in Jesus name.
It's a hard battle, as there are people promoting love, there are other people promoting hate, some even want the rise of the third Reich again, some are just looking for excuses for hate, all I can say is, whoever someone dies with hate in their heart will never rest in peace. Why cant people just mind their own business and let other people be, why cant people appreciate different cultures instead of hating, what good can hate bring but destruction to your heart and your soul, when love brings internal peace, boost your heart and soul. I've come to the conclusion that there are some people that are beyond stupid.
